Balsamic Honey Glazed Brussles Sprouts
The carmelized edges of these Brussels Sprouts are a delightful contrast to their tender interiors, and the Balsamic honey glaze adds a depth of flavor that elevates this simply vegetable! May I introduce you to your new favorite side dish?
Balsamic Honey Glazed Brussels Sprouts
This may be the absolute BEST Brussels Sprout you will ever eat!!
Ingredients
- Brussels Sprouts, washed
- 4 - 6 T Olive oil or Avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Balsamic Glaze
- 1/4 c Balsamic vinegar
- 2 T honey
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400F. (204C).
- Place an empty baking sheet in the oven for 5-8 minutes while preparing the Brussel Sprouts.
- Cut the stems off and cut them in half long ways. If they are still large cut them in half again.
- Place in a bowl and toss with oil, salt and black pepper.
- Take HOT cookie sheet out of oven. Spray with oil OR apply a light coat of cooking oil and place the Brussel Sprouts cut side down spacing them apart, not touching.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Take out of the oven and flip them. Place back in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
- After 8-10 minutes take them out of the oven and toss with the Balsamic/Honey Glaze and serve. OR Put NOTHING on them..they are that good!! ENJOY!
Making the Balsamic Glaze
- In a separate bowl add the Balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder and mix well.
