Easy Salsa

This easy Salsa is a flavor explosion and so customizable. On a chip as dip or as an ingredient in a dish you can’t go wrong with this recipe!

This restaurant style salsa is so delicious and easy!!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • jalapeno peppers to taste, chopped
  • 1 T cumin or to taste
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • Chopped cilantro to taste
  • 2 T vegetable oil of choice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except oil into the bowl of a food processor or blender. Blend but do not puree, leave a little chunky.
  2. Place in a sauce pan, stirring continuously, heat to boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cook.
  4. Stir in oil.
  5. Store in refrigerator. Serve with corn chips.
