Cherry O Cream Cheese Pie

The 1960’s brought on a lot of change and the creation of this pie may have been the highpoint! Being my brothers’ favorite pie, we had it a lot when I was growing up and I’m glad we did!! It’s smooth, creamy and oh so delicious!!

Cherry O Cream Pie

This nostalgic pie is smooth, creamy and brings back so many memories.

Ingredients

  • 1 graham crackers pie shell
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • ⅓ c lemon juice (lime juice can be substituted)
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (or filling of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Mix softened cream cheese until smooth and has no lumps.
  2. Add next 3 ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Pour into cooled pie crust and chill for 4 hours, or until firm.
  4. Can be frozen at this point for up to 3 months.
  5. Add fruit topping of your choice and enjoy!!
